Scientists have discovered a mysterious island in Argentina that rotates on its own axis.

The Eye, as seen from Google Maps.

The landmass at the center of the island, is called ‘The Eye’. It is located in swampy marshes of ‘Parana Delta’ in Argentina’s north. Scientists say the island has existed since at least 2003.

It’s around 118 meters in diameter, and sits on a pond of water, which is clear, cold and in deep contrast with its surrounding area. New findings suggest the circle not only rotates on its own axis but is also leaning in various sectors on the wall of the outer circle that contains it.
