China has completed the construction of what is anticipated to become the world's highest bridge.

The bridge is located in mountainous southwestern China between Yunnan and ‘Guizhou’ provinces.

The world’s highest cable-stayed bridge soars 565 meters above a river. The 1,341-meter-long structure is expected to shorten trips between the two provinces from around five hours to less than two.

Many of the world’s highest bridges are constructed in China. Officials say this one will become operational at the end of this year.
