Iran leader slams Saudi Arabia in Hajj message

- Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has issued his message on the occasion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage. The Leader blamed Saudi rulers for civil wars in some Muslim countries and supporting the Takfiri groups. Ayatollah Khamenei also slammed Riyadh for its poor management of last year’s Hajj.
- A massive explosion has hit the Afghan capital Kabul, with no immediate reports of casualties.The blast occurs hours after twin bombings claimed by Taliban militants killed at least 24 people near the Afghan defense ministry.
- A car bomb explosion in the Iraqi capital Baghdad has left nine people dead and 20 more wounded. The blast occurred near a hospital in Karradah district. Daesh Takfiri terrorists have claimed responsibility for the attack. Reports say the death toll is expected to rise.
- Turkey says its fighter jets have conducted airstrikes in northern Iraq, killing 30 Kurdish militants. According to a Turkish military source, air raids targeted the positions of militants from the Kurdistan Workers' Party or PKK in Qandil Mountains. Unconfirmed reports say some senior PKK officials were among the dead.
- Two bomb blasts have left at least 48 people dead near the Syrian city of Tartus, which houses a Russian naval base. Eleven people were also killed in separate explosions in Homs and Hasakah. The Syrian capital Damascus was also targeted. Daesh has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
- In Lebanon, a national dialogue of rival politicians has been suspended after a major Christian party allied to the resistance movement Hezbollah walked out, rejecting the talks as pointless. The Arab country has been without a president for over two years because of sharp divisions in the political spectrum.
- The UN human rights chief has strongly slammed Dutch far-right leader Geert Wilder for his recent anti-Muslim rhetoric. Zeid Ra'ad Al-Hussein described Wilders’ pledge to ban Muslim refugees and the Qur’an grotesque. He compared the fear-mongering tactics by Wilders to those of Daesh terrorists.
- A recent poll by GenForward agency shows the support for the Black Lives Matter movement has gone up to 51 percent among white adults in the U-S. That's a 10-percent increase since a survey in June this year. Respondents included people between the age of 18 and 30.
