US Open: Nadal beats Kuznetsov in straight sets
King of clay Rafael Nadal has cruised into the last 16 of the US Open following a straight sets victory over Andrey Kuznetsov of Russia.
The Spaniard produced an outstanding performance at the Flushing Meadow on Friday night.
He outclassed his Russian rival with a score-line of 6-1, 6-4, 6-2 to book his spot in the last-16 of a Grand Slam for the first time since Roland Garros 2015.
Nadal will be up against Frenchman Lucas Pouillein Round 4.
