US Open 2016: Andy Murray defeats Lukas Rosol 3-0
Andy Murray has beaten Lukas Rosol in the US Open to reach the second round of the event.
The 29-year old Scot beat Rosol of the Czech Republic 6-3, 6-2, 6-2, and will play Spain's Marcel Granollers in round two.
Murray has won 23 of his past 24 matches, including an unprecedented second consecutive Olympic singles gold medal at the Rio Games last month.
Meanwhile, Juan Martín del Potro, beat fellow Argentine Diego Schwartzman 6-4, 6-4, 7-6.
And World Number 1 Novak Djokovich didn't have to do much to reach Round 3 as Czech Jiri Vesely withdrew before their match due to injury.
