Revelers celebrate La Tomatina festival in Spain
Thousands of people have participated in an annual tomato fight festival in Spain.
Revelers in Valencia throw tomatoes at each other in the mass food festival, known as La Tomatina.
About 150,000 kilos of tomatoes was transported to the western region of Bunyol ahead of the festival, and all the twenty-thousand tickets were sold out.
The city hosts La Tomatina, which lasts an hour, on the last Wednesday of August every year. The rules of the festival include having a ticket and squashing the tomatoes before throwing them to avoid injuries.
