Opposition grows in Pakistan against legalizing enforced disappearances

August 30 marks the international day of the victims of enforced disappearances. The event was initiated to draw attention to the fate of individuals imprisoned at places unknown to their relatives or their legal representatives. Pakistan is one of the countries in the world that has a high rate of enforced disappearance. As our correspondent Javed Rana reports, most of these people have been detained under the cover of what Islamabad deems the war on terror.
