Press TV has conducted an interview with Ibrahim Mousawi, a political analyst from Beirut, about Saudi Arabia’s support for terrorists.

The following is a rough transcription of the interview.

Press TV: Give us your thoughts on the recent findings announced by Alaeddin Boroujerdi?

Mousawi: Well, the comment and the information that have been revealed by Mr. Boroujerdi come as no surprise to those who are following up the news.

Saudi Arabia has proved in a very tangible way, in a very concrete way what kind of terrorist actions it does against the Yemeni people after what they are doing in Yemen, bombarding the hospitals, bombarding the civilians, targeting them in their markets, this is a war of annihilation against civilians in Yemen.

And we have been able to see also valuable information that have been brought by the Iraqi authorities about the interference and about the engagement of Saudi authorities and the attempts and the attacks, suicidal bombs and terrorist attacks in Iraq.

We have also known again and again by many American analysts and journalists and committees, they revealed all information about Saudi Arabia and the Wahhabi commitment and engagement in the terrorist actions in 9/11 against the Americans, against the West.

So, here you are talking about Wahhabi mentality, here you are talking about Takfiri groups that have been nurtured steadily by Saudi Arabia and by its different apparatuses.

So, it comes no surprise at all to us to hear new information about Saudi involvement in conspiracies or in attacks, plots against Iran because unfortunately Saudi Arabia has put Iran as the arch foe and arch enemy for itself. And it has put itself in the place of enemy to many causes of the Arab and Muslim people instead of supporting them.

Press TV: In different scenarios and different cases slowly but gradually information is gathering that is implementing Saudi Arabia’s support for terrorists, you mentioned, it will further undermine Saudi Arabia’s position with various countries specifically in the region.

Mousawi: It is already undermined actually. We know that the Saudis are buying time, they are bribing governments, people, apparatuses. We know very well what happened in the United Nations recently when they have condemned the Saudi authorities for bombarding the children.

We have known a lot of things that happened in Britain and even in the United States when they called for the prohibiting of giving support or giving arms to Saudi Arabia, because it is being used against civilians. Yet the Saudis continue.

They think that they can subdue, they can subjugate all things by sending or giving money. It is going to end soon I believe.

The Saudis have come into the quagmire in Yemen. They have come into the quagmire in Syria and in Iraq, in many places. I believe the credibility of Saudi Arabia has already been undermined in so many different levels and maybe it’s time for them to revisit their thoughts, to revisit their plots and to amend and change their policy because this is going to bring more and more discredibility and crumbling of the Saudi system as a whole.
