Music school offers Afghan kids a place to heal

Lanny Cordola’s ‘Miraculous Love Kids’ school lets its students immerse themselves into the joyful world of singing and playing the guitar and shields them against sadness and sorrow.

A guitar school in Kabul is giving children a chance to experience hope and peace after enduring a prolonged war.

The music school founded by an American guitarist is a safe haven for more than 50 children.

Lanny Cordola’s ‘Miraculous Love Kids’ school lets its students immerse themselves into the joyful world of singing and playing the guitar and shields them against sadness and sorrow.

Afghan girls, who were once deprived of any education, can also enjoy one of the classes before or after school time.

Cordola hopes that music can be an instrumental way for the traumatized population to heal and promote peace.
