Indian-controlled Kashmir has been plagued by an ongoing wave of unrest for more than six weeks now. In an effort to quell the unrest, New Delhi has put restrictions in the region, including those on mosques. The move, however, has not stopped Kashmiris from pressing ahead with their pro-independence activities, as they hold prayers on streets to express their anger at the ongoing crackdown.
