USA thrash Serbia 96-66 to win men's basketball gold
The US men's basketball team out-performed the Serbians 96-66 to deservedly grab the gold medal.
The US players dominated the match from the outset, gradually raising the ante and claiming the all quarters overwhelmingly.
The Serbians were unable to reduce the massive deficit throughout the match.
All-Star team of NBA players who came into the Olympics as the favorite, capped off an 8-0 campaign with a 96-66 victory against Serbia in Sunday’s gold-medal game.
With the win, the Americans increased their winning streak in the Olympics to 52 games.
