Archaeologists in Kazakhstan have found a 3000-year-old pyramid in central ‘Karaganda’ Region.

It is believed to be a lookalike of the famous Egyptian pyramid, and constructed about one thousand years earlier.

The walls and a dome, as well as artifacts such as plates, coins, weapons, as well as skulls were also found at the site.

Expert say the pyramid was likely built to pay tribute to a great king or a very powerful man. Archaeologists are now preparing to explore the unopened burial chamber of the pyramid hoping it will reveal more about the structure.
