Robotic butler serves in Silicon Valley's hotel
A hotel in California’s Silicon Valley has presented its newest high-tech employee. It is a robotic butler dubbed as ‘Botlr’.
Botlr is created to help those working in the hospitality industry, relieving hotel employees from small tasks like delivering towels, snacks or any other small items to guests.
The aim of the robotic assistant is to take over mundane tasks from the hotel's human staff to allow them to focus more on serving customers personally. The robot uses sensors and cameras to make its way around the building when it's not at its docking center in the hotel's lobby.
