The fastest man on Earth, Usain Bolt, has moved one step closer to his final individual sprint gold at the Rio Games.
The Jamaican sprinter advanced to the final of the 200 meters by clocking 19.78 seconds for the fastest time of the year in the semis. Bolt is looking to lower his world record of 19.19 seconds in the event, which he set at the 2009 world championships. The Jamaican has also won the 100 meters gold medal in Rio.
Meanwhile, American Justin Gatlin, who finished 2nd in the 100 meters, failed to qualify for the final of the 200 meters.
