Brazil beat Colombia 2-0, reach Olympic football semifinals

Brazilian start striker Neymar has scored his first goal of the Rio Games to help Brazil reach the semifinals with a 2-nil win over Colombia.

Neymar gave the hosts a 1-nil lead as early as the 12th minute as he fired home a free-kick with a right-footed strike.

Luan was also on target with some 7 minutes remaining in the game at the Corinthians Arena to make it 2-nil and keep Brazil on track for their first Olympic football title.

Brazil will face Honduras in the semifinal at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
