World's longest cigar rolled in Cuba

Cuban cigar roller Jose Castelar Cairo rolls a new giant cigar.

A famous Cuban cigar roller has broken his own Guinness record by rolling a 90-meter cigar.

Jose Castelar says the cigar is dedicated to former President Fidel Castro on his 90th birthday.

After 10 days of hard work Castelar rolled the last few centimeters of the cigar in front of onlookers, tourists and the press in Havana.

He cut it off at exactly 90 meters, to honor Castro's birthday, although he had rolled almost a meter more. He used around 80 kilos of dry tobacco leaves to make the giant cigar.

A team of 100 people helped the roller accomplish his new feat.
