Italy’s Supreme Court has given the green light to a referendum on crucial government-proposed constitutional reforms. Now, prime minister Matteo Renzi is only one step away from overhauling Italy’s two-chamber parliamentary system. But he also may be forced to resign in case the public does not support his bid.
