Catalan giants Barcelona have defeated Celtic 3-1 in a pre-season friendly match at the International Champions Cup in Dublin.

Arda Turan put Barca ahead when he curled a first-time effort into the top right corner of the net, early into the match.

Celtic leveled the tie before the half-hour-mark when Jose Antonio Martinez failed to control a simple pass from Barcelona's goalkeeper , allowing Leigh Griffiths to tap-in the equalizer.

However, one minute later another defensive blunder at the other end handed the Catalans the lead once again when Efe Ambrose diverted a cross into his own net, making it 2-1 to Luis Enrique’s men.

Munir Mohamed then secured a 3-1 win for Barcelona following a fast passing move with some five minutes remaining in the first half.
