In Motorsports, Kris Meeke has maintained his lead over local hero Yari-Matti Latvala after 11 stages of Rally Finland on Friday!

Rally Finland is already over for Yazeed al Rajhi. He and co-driver Michael Orr escaped unhurt after this high-speed crash at the very end of Special Stage 7 but his Ford Fiesta RS was not up to continuing.

Meeke is still very much involved. By the end of Stage 9, the Northern Irishman held a 20.2 second advantage over Latvala.

Championship leader Sebastien Ogier rounded out the top three. Ott Tanak battled back after his morning suspension issues as the Estonian progressed from 10th to 7th.
