Raonic victory over Donaldson pushes him into quarter-finals

Milos Raonic of Canada has posted a straightforward win over American Jared Donaldson to reach the quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup in Toronto. 

Raonic, who had defeated Yen-Hsun Lu of Chinese Taipei in the previous round, staged another impressive performance and delivered a host of serves faster than 200 kilometers per hour to win the match 6-2, 6-3.

The big-serving Canadian hit a total of 15 aces during the 3rd round encounter which lasted 70 minutes. The home favourite will next take on Frenchman Gael Monfils for a place in the semifinals.
