World number 1 Novak Djokovic has beaten Radek Stepanek in straight sets in the third round of the Rogers Cup.

The Serb didn’t appear to have much trouble at all against his Czech opponent. Jokovich played in fine form thanks to both his footwork and ground strokes.

Stepanek did manage to fight-off a match point in the second set, which gave him a sigh of relief. But moments later, the world number 1 simply dealt with the matter and claimed his victory with a score of 6-2, 6-4.
