The Israeli military has set up concrete roadblocks at the entrances of a number of villages around the West Bank city of Bethlehem. This has imposed severe restrictions on the movement of Palestinians there. The Israeli military says the measure has been taken as a response to an alleged attack on an Israeli vehicle last Thursday.
