Nico Rosberg extends Mercedes stay until 2018

Nico Rosberg has signed a new two-year contract with Mercedes, which will keep him at the Formula1 team until 2018.

It means that the 31-year-old Rosberg and rival Lewis Hamilton will continue to share the Silver Arrows garage in 2017 and 2018.

The German F1 Driver has been with Mercedes since 2010, having started his career with 4 years at Williams.

The current drivers' championship leader has 19 career Grand Prix victories so far, but has yet to win the title.
