Iran Super Cup: Zob Ahan Esfahan beat Esteghlal Khuzestan 4-2

Zob Ahan Esfahan wins Iran's Super Cup title after beating Esteghlal Khuzestan 4-2 in Foolad Shahr Stadium on Tuesday.

Zob Ahan have come back from 2-goals down to beat Esteghlal Khuzestan 4-2 to win Iran's Super Cup.

Esteghlal scored the opener in the later stages of the first half when Meysam Doraghi scored from a retaken penalty following a handball in the area.

Striker Rahim Zohaivi then doubled Khuzestan’s lead in the 52nd minute with a precise header on Hassan Beyt Saeed's cross from the left. 

Zob Ahan then staged a comeback with Morteza Tabrizi and Yaser Feizi scoring on two headed-efforts in a 6-minute-span midway through the second half to restore parity at 2-all and force the game into extra-time where Zob Ahan won two penalties and converted both to make it 4-2 and win the Iranian Super Cup.
