Iran accuses US treasury of causing confusion for banks willing to work with Tehran

Iran’s deputy foreign minister says the US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control is causing confusion for banks rather than encouraging them when it comes to business with Iran. Speaking after the fourth Joint Commission session between Iran and the P-five-plus-one countries, Abbas Araqchi noted that Tehran is negotiating with Russia to sell Moscow 40 cubic tons of heavy water.
