Children, diagnosed with autism, face numerous challenges in life including trouble making eye contact and reading emotions on people’s faces. Now a new gadget is set to change all that.

Researchers at the University of Stanford in the US have created the “Autism Glass” to help children suffering from the disorder.

The wearable device consists of a facial recognition software that runs on Google Glass. It acts as a coach, helping the kids search for and correctly identify emotions expressed on the people’s faces.

Hundreds of autistic children have participated in a study to try the tool. And the result has been amazing.
