Trafficking and modern slavery stats spike in UK

The UK anti-slavery commissioner has voiced concerns over exploitation of current-day slaves in the country.

Modern slavery and human trafficking are on the rise in Britain. Charity groups are warning that the startling figures are just the tip of the iceberg. There are growing concerns that more children are being caught in a criminal web being driven by a demand for cheap products and illicit sexual activities. Our correspondent Amina Taylor spoke to one charity at the forefront of the fight against a modern British scourge.
