Thierry Henry leaves Arsenal after Wenger ultimatum

Thierry Henry scored 228 goals across two spells for Arsenal

Thierry Henry has left Arsenal after rejecting the opportunity to coach the Gunners’ under-18 side, in the wake of an ultimatum from the club’s manager Arsene Wenger.

Wenger had asked the club’s all-time leading goalscorer to quit his role as a TV pundit, in order to Devote himself full-time to Arsenal’s junior sides.

However, the former striker, who has been working with the youth for four days a week, was not prepared to give-up his media work.

Former Arsenal captain Tony Adams is now expected to take the role with the under-18s.
