Authorities in the Ukrainian capital Kiev have re-named a main avenue in the city center after a controversial historical and political figure. Stepan Bandera was an activist and a nationalist leader in the years leading to the World War Two. He is revered by Ukrainians as a pro-independence figure. But Russia and Poland have different ideas as they accuse him of pursuing fascist policies.
