The world No2 Andy Murray has survived Jo-Wilfried Tsonga's fightback to reach the semifinals at Wimbledon for the seventh time.
The local favorite, who clinched the opening two sets on Wednesday lost his way against the big-serving Tsonga and blew the two sets lead.
Murray then had to save a break point early into the decider before taking charge of the match again and racing away to a 7-6, 6-1, 3-6, 4-6, 6-1 victory on Center Court.
The 29-year-old will now face Tomas Berdych in Friday's semifinal.
