Workers at Trump Taj Mahal Casino continue their strike for the third day, demanding a pay raise and healthcare benefits.

The staff of Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, failed to reach a deal with the management Thursday night and went on strike Friday morning.

The striking workers belong to the Unite Here Local 54 union, which consists of all the resort’s waiters, cooks, bartenders, porters, room attendants, and dish washers but not the gaming staff, who have managed to keep it open so far.

In an average, the employees make less than $12 an hour, according to the union. They also lost their healthcare benefits when the resort went bankrupt in 2014.

Although the casino was saved by Trump’s close friend, Carl Icahn (pictured above), in March, the presumptive Republican nominee still holds a small stake in it and is said to have made a huge amount of money out of filing bankruptcy.

“Everyone is really motivated and really excited out here fighting Carl Icahn,” union president Bob McDevitt said among protesters early on Sunday. “They’re not counting the days right now. They just figure they’ll be here as long as they have to.”

Trump opened the casino in 1990 and its current owner, Icahn, is a possible Treasury Department secretary in his administration if he wins the 2016 presidential race.
