The Israeli army has imposed a closure on the city of al-Khalil and the surrounding villages and towns amid an escalation of violence in the West Bank. Over 48 hours, four Palestinians and two Israelis have been killed in separate incidents. Tel Aviv will also reduce monthly transfers of tax collected on behalf of the Palestinians as a response to the killing of the two Israelis.
