The world number 2 Andy Murray has opened his account at Wimbledon with a comfortable victory over fellow Britain Liam Broady in the first round.
Murray established his supremacy early into the match on Tuesday and broke twice to claim the opening set 6-2 after 25 minutes.
Murray, who was playing his first match against a fellow Britain at a Grand Slam, kept up the pace and outclassed Broady 6-3 in the second set before sweeping through the third 6-4 to wrap up the win in only one hour and 43 minutes. The 2013 champion will next face Lu Yen-hsun of Chinese Taipei.
