A significant upsurge in the number of racist abuse cases and hate crimes has been blamed on the recent Brexit vote in the UK. The number of cases being reported has drastically risen after the country narrowly voted to leave the European Union.

As Press TV's Mohamed Walji says the Polish community in Britain was the first group that received xenophobic threats in the days after the Thursday referendum.
