America’s tennis player Steve Johnson has claimed his Maiden ATP World Tour Title by beating Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay in straight sets to win the Nottingham Open.
Cuevas raced into a 3-1 lead in the opening set, but Johnson fought back and took it in a tie-break.
The American then converted the 1st break of the match for a 2-1 lead before Cuevas broke-back to tie it at 4-all with a superb back-hand.
However, Johnson regained his Composure and went-on to take the set 7-5 and close-out the win in One hour and 33-minutes. Johnson is now the 3rd first-time winner in 2016.
