Iranian Volleyball Team suffered another defeat against Brazil on the 2nd week of the FIVB World League on Friday.
After a victory against Argentina and Bulgaria, Javier Luzano’s lads went head-to-head with Brazil in Belgrade. The 2 teams had met in the 1st week of tournament in Brazil, where the Hosts posted a 3-nothing victory over Iran.
On Friday, Brazil dominated the game from the opening set and took it 25-18. In the 2nd, the 9-time World League Champions narrowly lost the set 26-24.
Iran continued to maintain their 2nd-set-form in the 3rd, but Brazil’s strength in the backline restored dominance for them as they took the set 25-16, before winning the last one 25-17, to wrap up a 3-1 victory over Iran.
