US dad get tattoo to match son's surgical scar

An American father has shaved and tattooed his head to match his son's surgery scar.

A young American father has shaved and tattooed his head to mark his support for his son who’s fighting cancer.

Josh Marshall's son who has brain cancer has undergone tumor-surgery as well as several chemo and radiation therapy sessions.

Josh soon realized that even though Gabriel liked his scar at first, the kid could not take all the public pressure alone and got a tattoo to join Gabriel in being stared at.

Soon, a picture of the two with their matching ‘battle scars’ went viral on social media and won St. Baldrick’s 2016 Best Bald Dad competition.

The photo contest celebrates dads who go bald to support their children who lose their hair due to chemotherapy. The recognition gained helps families raise awareness about childhood cancer.
