A Chinese supercomputer has been named the world's fastest computer for the seventh year in a row.
The Sunway TaihuLight has been developed by the Chinese National Research Center of Parallel Computer Engineering & Technology.
The supercomputer uses Chinese-developed ShenWei processors. It is capable of 93 quadrillion calculations per second. It is designed for use in engineering and research, including in the fields of climate, life sciences, and data analytics.
