Overcrowded mosques in Catalonia

During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims in Catalonia turn to overcrowded mosques to pray and break their fast. In Barcelona, the lack of a proper place of worship has been a thorn in the side of both the large Muslim community there and the local authorities. Neither of them seems satisfied with the status quo.
