Thousands in Kazakhstan participate in color-run festival

More than 10,000 people from all ages gathered at a mountain resort in Almaty to enjoy a day of fun, sports and even charity.

As we are approaching the summer, people all over the world are taking part in different fun festivals. Now the so-called color-run is one of those exciting ones that has gathered thousands in Kazakhstan’s Almaty.

More than 10,000 people from all ages gathered at a mountain resort in Almaty to enjoy a day of fun, sports and even charity. A team of volunteers threw color powder at the runners who were all wearing white t-shirts.

There are no rules except that there shouldn’t be a white spot left on the competitors’ shirts. Participants pay 6 to 9 dollars to enter the race, and the total amount will be used for planting trees.
