Iran’s national volleyball team has managed to snatch their 6th win at the Men’s World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan, even though they have already secured a spot for the upcoming Olympics in Rio.
The Iranian giants overcame their rivals Venezuela 3-2, taking the first set 25-23 losing the second 29-27 and the third 25-21.
However, with the help of the game’s top scorer Mojtaba Mirzajanpour who contributed 24 points, Iran bounced back and took next two sets 25-18 and 15-8 to wrap up the victory.
With this result Venezuela packs up and leaves without gaining any victories at all while Iran leave Japan with big smiles on their faces and a ticket to Rio.
