Hostage-taking on the rise in Afghanistan

Kidnapping civilians is increasing in Afghanistan. In most cases, the militants stop buses on highways and take passengers to unknown locations. That has made it extremely difficult for the majority of Afghans to travel from one region to another. Therefore, Afghan people are now calling on the government to take immediate action and improve security.
