Man with 19-meter hair seeks Guinness recognition

An Indian man whose hair is about 19 meters long is seeking to be recognized by Guinness World Records.

60 year-old Savjibhai Rathwa has been growing his hair for decades. He spends three hours washing his hair once every two days and he has his grandchildren hold it out in the sun to dry.

Rathwa carries his long hair around like a rope and eats loads of fruit and veggies to keep his hair healthy and powerful.

A local nonprofit organization has agreed to help the man apply for a Guinness World Record.
