Protests continues over killing of Shias in Pakistan

Pakistani Shia Muslim leaders have been on a symbolic hunger strike to protest against the killing of scholars and professionals from their community. Extremist groups have long been targeting Shias in Pakistan. But these leaders believe the government is to blame in the first place as it has not taken proper measures to tackle sectarian violence.
