Deportivo sack manager Victor Sanchez
Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna have parted ways with their manager Victor Sanchez del Amo, following a disappointing campaign in the La Liga.
Deportivo said in a statement on Monday that the board of directors took the decision to terminate Sanchez’s contract who was in charge of the team for 13 months.
Deportivo finished 15th in the league, just four points above the relegation zone. However, they managed to win only eight matches during the whole season, which was the joint worst in Spain’s top flight. Deportivo also were defeated 8-Nil at home by Barcelona back in April.
