Djokovic beats Darcis, cruises into 3rd round of French Open

World No.1 tennis player Novak Djokovic has cruised into the 3rd round of the French Open, following a straight sets victory over his Belgian opponent Steve Darcis.

The Serbian Ace, who is seeking for a Roland Garros Title to complete a career Grand Slam, overpowered his Belgian rival with a score line of 7-5, 6-3, 6-4 in 2 hours and 17 minutes to claim his 50th win at the tournament.

It was Djokovic’s 3rd victory in 3 career meetings with Darcis. He will next face Slovenian-born Brit Aljaz Bedene in the 3rd round.
