Italian lawyers strike over statute of limitations reform

Thousands of lawyers in Italy have held a three-day strike against a government-proposed reform plan on criminal proceedings. They say the plan would prolong trials and increase the burden on lawyers. They are also angry over the government’s plans to make it easier to eavesdrop on private conversations of ordinary citizens. Press TV’s Max Civili has the story from Rome.
