A gigantic space shuttle fuel tank has made its way to the streets of Los Angeles, attracting thousands of spectators.

The space shuttle known as the ‘ET-94’, the giant orange tank weighs a whopping 66000 pounds and is over 40-meters in length.

The tank, which was never used in a mission, was donated by NASA to a museum in downtown Los Angeles.

It was towed by a truck from coastal Marina del Rey at midnight to its final destination. It will eventually be placed in an upright display alongside another space shuttle at the museum.
