White House in lockdown over security breaches

The White House was placed on lockdown on Friday, after a man attempted to enter the compound and was shot by Secret Service officers. President Barack Obama was on a golf outing at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland when the incident took place, but the vice president was in the building.
