Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has broken the 10-second barrier to win the 100 meters in his 2nd race of 2016, at the I-double-A-F Golden Spike event in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

The Olympic Champion had never lost on his seven previous visits, and managed to break the 10-second-barrier on his way to a comfortable victory on Friday in a time of 9.98 seconds.

Of course, there were a few home favorites in action too, including 2-time World 400m Hurdles Champion Zuzana Hejnova.

She was level with Jamaica's Kaliese Spencer on the final hurdle ,but both were surprisingly beaten by Joanna Linkiewicz of Poland in 55.40 seconds.

There was another win for Jamaica in the men's 400meters as Javon Francis cruised home ahead of USA's Tony McQuay, with another Czech athlete Pavel Maslak taking 3rd.
